The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management is designed for those who wish to open and manage their own business. The qualification provides the in depth skills and knowledge needed to groom a wide variety of dogs. There are business management and canine emergency first aid modules are included, along with theory sessions covering key elements from the units listed below. 

No previous qualifications or experience are necessary to complete this course. Therefore, you do not need to hold a Level 2 qualification to undertake it. 

Those who complete this course can look to work as a groomer in a salon environment or set up their own business.

• iPET Network Level 3 Award in Hand Stripping

This is an Ofqual regulated qualification awarded by the iPET Network and you will receive a recognised certificate on completion.

What does the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming cover?

The first day will begin with a health and safety induction, along with a tour of our facilities. During each day of the course, you will have the opportunity to style and finish a number of different dog breeds. 

The course includes 30 practical days, that must be completed within 12 months of your start date. There will be some theory to complete outside of the course hours to provide underpinning knowledge to your vocational skill development.
